PER-DIEM ACCOUNTANT -
If you are a interested in full or part-time "per-diem" work and are extensively experienced in tax preparation then we would like to talk with you. ASSOCIATE LEVEL -
The individuals have 0-2 years of experience in public accounting. Associates are expected to develop efficient work habits, obtain knowledge of accounting and tax issues and assume responsibility for the timely and accurate completion of an engagement. Their tasks will include the preparation of accounting work papers, financial statements and tax returns. They need to become proficient with standard industry software.
SEMI-SENIOR LEVEL -
These individuals have 2-3 years of experience. They will be expected to perform assigned tasks with little supervision, handle multiple assignments, meet deadlines, accept increasing responsibility and make decisions and recommendations. Their assignments will include the completion of work papers, financial statements, tax returns, audit engagements and certain estate and trust engagements. A semi-senior accountant is expected to organize research and be proficient in commonly used industry software.
SENIOR LEVEL -
These individuals have 3-8 years of experience in public accounting. They are expected to be able to perform all tasks of lesser-experienced team members and be able to delegate, supervise and lead the less experienced team members. They should be proficient in accounting and tax matters, able to research and be able to draw conclusions from their research. At this level, the team member should be able to draft correspondence, communicate effectively with clients and prioritize their daily activities.
MANAGER LEVEL -
These individuals have 8-plus years of experience in public accounting. At this point, you must be a CPA and be proficient in all tasks and skills of lesser-experienced team members. They must be able to delegate and supervise all team members. Candidates must be able to manage engagements within budgets and deadlines. They are responsible for entire engagement from soup to nuts. They must be able to review engagements, resolve all problems and communicate with client and partner. They must possess strong written and oral communication skills. A manager has to add value to the client at a high level.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST -
This individual must possess a broad range of business experience, in such areas, but not limited to, marketing, operations, finances, human resources, etc. This individual will work with business clients to enhance their profitability, improve their internal systems, strategic planning, etc. A good candidate must be a problem-solver, out-of-the-box thinker, and creativity is a must
ESTATE & TRUST ACCOUNTANT -
This postition is for entry to 4+ years experience for our ESTATE, TRUST AND GIFT TAX DEPARTMENT. This individual will be expected to obtain Estate and Trust knowledge completing assignments that will include preparation of individual and fiduciary income tax returns, Pennsylvania and federal death tax returns and court accountancy.
